the Heart Machine silently spun behind Tanya as she dried her lithe body: despite the non-liquid nature of the Ethereum, she always managed to get soaked as soon as she crossed the Horizon.
the detached sound that put one in mind of a choir filled the void of the chamber, it's cathedral-like build broken up by the radiant energy that filled every one of Tanya's pores even as the last of the water was cleaned from her body.
Throwing the towel over her shoulder, Tanya smiled at the swirling core of the machine as she felt its energy coils ease away from her mind, like a robe sliding off her body. she "brushed" one of these with her hand as it receded, the sense of detachment momentarily filling her soul with sadness.
the feeling passed, and she blew a kiss at the orb of energy as she turned and strode away, back to her responsibilities, in preparation for what was to come.....
